Executive Director

Our Executive Director is Morgan Stafford.

Morgan is a graduate of Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University (Master of Divinity, 2018) and Belmont University (Bachelor of Business Administration, 2013).

In addition to his role as Executive Director of Memphis Wesley, Morgan also serves as the Cross-Cultural Strategist for the Metro District of the Memphis Conference of The United Methodist Church.

Morgan previously served as Cross-Cultural Strategist & Ministry Intern for the Nashville Episcopal Area, Project Coordinator for the Hispanic/Latin@ Ministries Program at Perkins School of Theology, Executive Director & Director of Young People's Ministries at Christ's Foundry United Methodist Mission, Information Consultant at United Methodist Communicatons, and Director of Young People's Ministries at Antioch United Methodist Church. Morgan has also served as a summer intern with Project Transformation Tennessee.

Morgan serves on the New Church Development Strategy Team and the Hispanic/Latin@ Ministry Strategic Planning Team for the Nashville Episcopal Area. He also serves on the Memphis Advisory Board for Project Transformation Tennessee, and the Board of Directors for Mid-South Immigration Advocates. He has previously served on the Board of Directors for Belmont Wesley Fellowship and Tennessee Justice for Our Neighbors.

Graduate Intern & Associate Director of Outreach

Eliza Ford serves as Graduate Leadership Intern & Associate Director of Outreach at Memphis Wesley. She previously served as Justice Coordinator (Fall 2019) and Student Leadership Coordinator (Spring 2020). Eliza is one of Memphis Wesley's voting delegates for MICAH (Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action & Hope). She also co-chairs the MICAH Re-Entry Task Force. Eliza also serves on staff at Memphis Kids in Nature.

Eliza was born and raised in Brownsville, Tennessee. She graduated from Haywood High School in 2015, and is a proud Tomcat alum. She is a graduate of the University of Memphis (Class of 2019) with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and African American Studies with a Minor in Non-Profit Management.

Eliza is a life-long learner with a passion for justice, devoted to shaping a more compassionate, inclusive, and and resourceful world.

Graduate Intern & Associate Director of Operations

Ronald Alan Davis joined the Memphis Wesley team in May 2020 as Graduate Leadership Intern & Associate Director of Operations. Ronald is a Memphis native and a founding member of Freedom's Chapel Christian Church. He is a proud graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana (Class of 2019, Cum Laude). He is a gifted musician with experience as a performer, producer, and writer. He is a voting delegate of MICAH (Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope).

In this new role, Ronald will lead initiatives in communications, development, and finance.

Graduate Intern & Associate Director of Engagement

Jacob Brack serves as a Graduate Leadership Intern & Associate Director of Engagement at Memphis Wesley. He previously served as the Worship and IT Coordinator (Fall 2019-Spring 2020), and the Worship Team Coordinator (Fall 2018-Spring 2019). Jacob is also a musician who enjoys playing drums on the Worship Team at Memphis Wesley.

Jacob grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee and is a graduate of the University of Memphis (Class of 2020, Summa Cum Laude). He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Business Information Technology. 

Graduate Intern & Associate Director of Discipleship

Mandy Campbell is the Graduate Leadership Intern and Associate Director for Discipleship; her work encompasses Wesley’s small group and justice ministries. She also serves as one of Wesley’s delegates to the Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope. 

Mandy earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and African and African American Studies from the University of Memphis in 2020. Her senior thesis examined the work of four Memphis ministers active in the civil rights movement and how their activism reshaped their theology. She will pursue a Master of Theological Studies degree beginning in August 2021 and considers the Wesley community an essential part of her vocational discernment.
